Mosaic tile square Uni M 451

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Mosaic tile square Uni M 451 introduces cobalt blue through a ceramic mosaic with a glittering appearance. Its regular small-square arrangement gives the colour a clear structure, offering a more detailed surface than a single plain tile. It can be considered where you want blue to become a deliberate feature rather than a minor colour repeated only in accessories or fittings.

A strong cobalt tone can influence the whole scheme, even when the mosaic occupies a relatively small area. Compare it with the surrounding finishes before deciding on the feature size. A quieter neighbouring surface can give the blue squares more emphasis, while another bold colour requires a more careful balance. Think about what will remain visible around furniture and fixtures once the room is in use.

CERAMIC FORMAT & DIMENSIONS

The specification records a width of 30 cm and a length of 32.6 cm, with a thickness of 5.2 mm. The backing is mesh-glued and the net weight is 970 g. These complete-panel dimensions are slightly rectangular, so include the proposed orientation when planning the layout. The individual square size is not independently given and should not be assumed from another ceramic mosaic in the same range.

Ceramics is the stated material, with first-choice sorting listed. The glittering gloss-level entry should be considered alongside the cobalt-blue colour when comparing nearby finishes. The slim 5.2 mm profile also matters at junctions with other tiles. Plan those transitions and the perimeter of the feature before installation, and discuss suitable fixing products for the ceramic mosaic and the surface receiving it.

WHERE TO USE

The supplied product information lists walls and floors, indoor and outdoor settings and frost resistance. Bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms and permanently wet areas are named in the application record. These details should be assessed against the exact location and complete installation requirements, rather than treated as a general promise that all positions within those rooms or outdoor settings are equivalent.

The abrasion entry is group 1, described as very light use. Keep that limitation in view when considering a floor, and confirm the required performance for any wet-floor or more demanding area with your installer. No separate slip-resistance rating is supplied here. Frost resistance also needs to be considered with appropriate preparation and fitting for an outdoor installation rather than as a replacement for them.

BUYING & ARRANGING THE BLUE FEATURE

The catalogue offers per-sheet and square-metre options. Check the selected buying unit and confirm the product coverage before calculating the order. Measure the actual area that will receive the cobalt-blue mosaic and note corners, openings and any changes of direction. If it is being used between larger tiles, measure that decorative section separately so the quantity reflects the intended feature rather than the entire wall.

Review any allowance for cuts in relation to the pattern layout, and compare the blue with the adjoining materials before purchase. Confirm the preparation, fixing and finishing approach for the exact setting with your installer. The Mosaic tile square Uni M 451 offers a clear combination of cobalt colour, a glittering ceramic surface and a fine square pattern, with the technical table kept separate for checking its measurements and listed applications.
